I've been making up and telling stories ever since I was a small child. I wrote my first short story at thirteen and started writing my first novel at sixteen. After completing my first degree in 1991, I enlisted in the Marines and was stationed in Italy for six months, during which time I studied American Literature and Philosophy. I hold an Associate of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science. I reside in Portland, Oregon, where I'm working on my eighth screenplay.

Oh, and I usually wear glasses.
